Gemma joined us in 2010 after working for a number of years for the Crown Prosecution Service as an Associate Prosecutor. She graduated from Reading University and completed her Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Birmingham with a distinction. Gemma qualified as a solicitor in 2011.
Gemma has a wide range of experience but has primarily concentrated her work within the Private Client Department since 2016. She has dealt with hundreds of Private Client matters including the drafting of Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney, Deputyship applications and estate administration. She has dealt with a wide range of estates including those for farming families.
In addition Gemma has extensive experience dealing with road traffic offences and can assist with a range of motoring matters. Gemma has been involved in hundreds of road traffic court hearings and estimates that she has dealt with over fifty hearings dealing with the advancement of exceptional hardship.
Gemma has two young daughters who keep her busy outside of the office. She also tries to keep fit and enjoys spin.
